Below we have attached a comprehensive packing list for new and old campers to know what campers will need for the week.

Getting There

During the camper application is how you will specify transportation to camp. You will choose from either bus transportation to/from the Greater Toronto Area or you will be responsible to drive them to Camp Deen.

If your child is on the bus please pack them a peanut-free lunch with snacks as it is a long bus ride!

  • Dropoff - August 23rd 2026

    Parents or guardians should be drop off campers at Camp Smitty by 3 PM.

    Pickup - August 26th 2026

    Parents or guardians should pickup campers at Camp Smitty by 2 PM.

  • 🗺️ Getting to Camp Smitty — 98 Mink Lake Rd, Eganville, ON K0J 1T0

    Heads up for both routes: The final stretch on Mink Lake Rd is a rural road so GPS signal can be spotty. Screenshot your directions before you leave, and follow the signs for Camp Smitty once you're in the area.

    From Ottawa (~1.5 hours)

    1. Head west on Highway 417 (the 417 W)

    2. Take exit 145 toward Arnprior / Renfrew onto Highway 17 W

    3. Continue on Highway 17 W through Arnprior toward Renfrew

    4. In Renfrew, turn left onto Highway 132 W toward Eganville

    5. Continue into Eganville and turn left onto Highway 60 W

    6. Turn right onto Mink Lake Rd

    7. Camp Smitty will be on your left at 98 Mink Lake Rd

    From Toronto (~3.5 hours)

    1. Head north on Highway 400 N

    2. Merge onto Highway 11 N toward Barrie / Orillia

    3. Take Highway 60 E toward Algonquin Park / Pembroke

    4. Continue east on Highway 60, passing through Whitney and the edge of Algonquin Park

    5. Continue on Highway 60 past Barry's Bay toward Eganville

    6. Turn left onto Mink Lake Rd just before entering Eganville

    7. Camp Smitty will be on your left at 98 Mink Lake Rd

  • ⚠️ Before you go further: Fill out the Bus Pickup Form by AUGUST 17th so we know which bus your child will be picked up and dropped off at.

    Please pack your child a peanut free lunch for the bus ride.

    Departure — Sunday, August 23

    Bus #1

    • Pickup location: ISNA Mosque, 2200 North Sheridan Way, Mississauga

    • Arrive by: 10:30 am (to load luggage)

    • Bus departs: 11:00 am

    Arrives at Camp Smitty: approx. 3:30 pm

    Bus #2

    • Pickup location: Scarborough Town Centre, 300 Borough Drive, Scarborough (near the movie theatres)

    • Arrive by: 11:00 am (to load luggage)

    • Bus departs: 11:30 am

    • Arrives at Camp Smitty: approx. 3:30 pm

    Return — Saturday, August 29

    Both buses depart Camp Smitty at 2:00 pm.

    Bus #1 → Arrives at ISNA Mosque at approx. 6:30 pm

    Bus #2 → Arrives at Scarborough Town Centre at approx. 6:00 pm
